On the profoundly auspicious day of Mahalaya Amavasya (21st September 2025), the Kashi Archan Foundation warmly invites devotees to join together for a special Mahadev 
Anna Abhishek Community Puja at Kashi. This sacred ritual blends the transformative grace of Shiva Upasana and Pitru Tarpan, channeling collective intentions to foster peace for ancestors and invoke prosperity for all participating families.

Anna (grain/food) is revered as the embodiment of divine nourishment—Annam Brahma. When offered reverently to Lord Mahadev on this culminating day of Pitru Paksha, Anna Abhishek becomes a potent purifier of karma and a conduit for ancestral and Shiva’s blessings.

About the Puja: 

During this puja, devotees come together as one spiritual family to worship the Shivalinga, chanting Vedic mantras and performing the Anna Abhishek using rice, grains, milk, ghee, curd, honey, Gangajal, and other auspicious items. Anna symbolizes the abundance, gratitude, and selfless surrender that bring Mahadev’s grace.
