About Mouni Amavasya Pitra Shanti Maha Annadan Seva in Kashi

After 144 years the Purna Mahakumbh is coming and among all the Tithi of Shahi Snan, Mouni Amavasya is the most important Parva for which millions of devotees, Sadhu, Sant and Mahatamas Turn up in the city of Kashi and Tirth Raj Prayag.

According to Section 28 Shloka 8 of Shiv Mahapuran, the forefathers of devotees reside in heaven for that many thousands of years as per Anna Seeds used by such devotees in performing Annadan Seva.

On the Tithi of Mouni Amavasya, all our Pitra Devtas flock to Kashi and It is the responsibility of all the devotees to fulfill the anticipation and expectation of their Pitra Devtas by performing Annadan and virtuous rituals in the sacred Avimukta Kshetra Kashi.
