Procedure of Kaal Bhairav Puja and Homam

Preparation

The ritual begins with purification—bathing early morning, wearing fresh clothes, and setting up a clean altar with Bhairav's image. The priest prepares sacred items like black sesame, Bilva leaves, oil, ghee, and dhoop.

Invocation

The priest chants Ganesh and Bhairav Moola Mantras and performs Sankalp by stating the devotee’s name, gotra, and purpose. Invocation of Kaal Bhairav follows using bija mantras and Vedic nyasa rituals.

Offerings
