Batuk Bhairav is always pleased with this sadhana and stays with the seeker to provide security and save him from premature death. Such a seeker never lacks wealth and lives a life full of opulence.
If the seeker continuously cultivates Batuk Bhairava, Bhairava gives him vision in object form and grants him some Siddhis by which the seeker brings welfare to the people.
According to mythology, in ancient times there was a demon named Apad, who had obtained a boon by severe penance in which his death was possible only from a five-year-old boy and no one could kill him.
After receiving this boon, he spread his terror in the three worlds. It is believed that while the gods were looking for a solution to this problem, a stream of light came out of the bodies of all the gods and a five-year-old Batuk was born.
